Updated 01 march 2024
  1. Full Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy
  2. QQbet enforces a comprehensive ‘Know Your Customer’ policy to mitigate threats of Money Laundering and other forms of fraud. During registration and across the site, customers will be notified that QQbet utilizes online verification tools. In cases where these tools cannot meet the verification requirements, QQbet will request identity and address verification documents.

  3. Required Documentation for Identity Verification
  4. QQbet requires customers to submit specific documents for identity verification, including valid photo identification such as a driving license, identity card, travel document, passport, or any other document designated by the Ministry of Finance of Curacao. To verify residential addresses, QQbet may request a valid official identity document, recent utility bill, bank account statement, or correspondence from a government agency. Additionally, phone number verification is mandatory. QQbet reserves the right to request additional documentation for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and compliance.

  5. Proof of Funds
  6. In some instances, QQbet may require proof of funds to ensure the player uses their money to gamble on the site.

  7. Document Requests for Specific Scenarios
  8. QQbet may request the aforementioned documents when a player reaches a specific deposit or withdrawal threshold or if fraudulent activity is suspected.

  9. Bet Monitoring
  10. QQbet actively monitors player bets for possible violations. If there are uncertainties regarding the legality of credited winnings, QQbet will contact the provider to verify the bets.

  11. Identity Document Verification Criteria
  12. The ID provided must include the player’s name, photograph, date of birth, and citizenship, which should match the details in the player’s profile. The document must also be valid.

  13. Verification of Document Authenticity
  14. QQbet checks documents for signs of tampering. If necessary, the player may be asked to submit a selfie holding the ID to confirm that the document belongs to the person registered on the website.

  15. Handling Suspicious Documents
  16. If QQbet has strong suspicions regarding the validity of a document, the anti-fraud department will be contacted for further verification.

  17. Suspicious Transactions
  18. Suppose QQbet detects suspicious transactions, such as cash deposits from questionable sources (e.g., mismatching details between the sender and account holder) or fraudulent activity. In that case, QQbet reserves the right to initiate an internal investigation. During this time, the customer’s account may be blocked or closed, payments canceled, and operations suspended until the investigation concludes. Decisions will be made following applicable law.

  19. Additional Information for Withdrawal Methods
  20. QQbet may request further information if a customer’s withdrawal method differs from their deposit method. The company reserves the right to block the account during investigations if the customer refuses to provide the requested information.

  21. Additional Document Requests During Investigations:
  22. During investigations, QQbet may request additional copies of identity documents, bank card details used for deposits, and other documents confirming the funds' legal ownership and origin. QQbet also reserves the right to request original documents.

  23. High-Risk Customers
  24. QQbet is required to apply enhanced scrutiny to customers from high-risk jurisdictions.

  25. No Liability for Blocking or Closing Accounts
  26. QQbet’s decision to refuse or withhold transactions deemed suspicious (including blocking or closing the customer’s account) does not result in civil liability for the company in relation to the customer.
